Miss Marnie

Miss Marnie

Miss Marnie began dancing at the age of 5 and immediately fell in love. Ever since she has put her heart and soul in to all things dance! She. has completed her Grade 8 Award & Advanced 1 Examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance as well as her Advanced Jazz with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. She even choreographed, directed and danced in her first full length ballet - The Nutcracker - at the age of 17. To further her training she has studied under artists from all over the world including Russia, Switzerland, Trinidad, the US & Canada.

After training professionally in dance in Ontario, and for acting at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts, Marnie came back to the Prairies as she felt God had a plan for her to teach dance and share her deep love for it that way. She became a fully Registered Ballet Teacher with The Royal Academy of Dance and has now been teaching for over 20 years. With a strong passion for ballet, Miss Marnie also loves all forms of dance and is so happy to continue teaching and giving back the gift of dance to the amazing students at Born to Dance!
